El Conquistador is not only incredible any way you brew it but it’s also an increasingly rare treat. Backstory for you. The Costa Rican government sets a min. price for coffee daily & since competition for the best cherry is high, so too is the price. Land values are also soaring & farms are being sold all over the shop. Meaning coffees like this are only going to get scarcer. We’re lovin’ it as filter but encourage you to savour it any way you can, while you can. This is one to cherry-ish!

We’re loving this as a filter, but if it floats your boat as espresso, great!

N.B. Our espresso recipes are created on commercial equipment with 20g baskets. If you’re using a smaller or larger basket at home simply use the ratio of Dose:Yield to determine a starting point for your home brews. e.g. a recipe with a 20g dose and a 40g yield is a ratio of 1:2.
